Ming Dynasty Hanfu Wusha Hat
$54.44 Original price was: $54.44.$39.59Current price is: $39.59.
The Wusha Hat (乌纱帽) is one of the most iconic forms of traditional Chinese headwear, widely worn during the Ming Dynasty by officials and scholars. According to historical records in the Ming History – Yufu Zhi (Book of Attire), Emperor Yongle established the official crown style in the third year of his reign, naming it the “Yishan Crown” (翼善冠) for its upturned folded corners resembling the Chinese character for “virtue” (善).
This modern reproduction retains the dignified silhouette of the original Wusha Hat while using memory-type materials to ensure durability and flexibility. If deformed by external force, it can be easily restored to its original shape. The adjustable elastic band inside allows for a comfortable and secure fit, making it suitable for various head sizes.
Perfect for Ming-style Hanfu wear, performances, or historical reenactments, this piece captures the graceful and authoritative essence of Ming official attire.
