Design Inspiration：

This Hanfu set is inspired by the “Palace Ladies” painting, traditionally attributed to Liu Songnian of the Southern Song Dynasty and currently preserved at the Tokyo National Museum. As one of the sixty leaves in the Tang-style painting collection Brush-Farming Garden, the artwork depicts three noblewomen enjoying a peaceful moment in a courtyard—one seated at a table with scissors and fabrics, likely just finishing an embroidery piece, while another dances gracefully in a flowing red dress. The scene is filled with blooming flowers and lush, towering trees.

Drawing from this elegant imagery, our design reinterprets the dancing lady’s movement through a unique triple-petal floral motif on the skirt. The top features an original jacquard design with subtle round-flower patterns. The colour palette reflects the painting’s cheerful and delicate tones—playful, soft, and harmonious.
